This waterblock is the successor in a waterblock series belonging to the very best on the market! The XT Extreme Performance provides even better cooling performance than it's already excellent predecessor. The overall appearance of the waterblock is just beautiful: The whole waterblock is chrome plated and in the middle of the waterblock the Swiftech logo is integrated.

The cooling plate is made from copper and is polished to a mirror finish, An included backplate evenly distributes the contact pressure of the waterblock which results in even better cooling performance and almost no stress at all on the Mainboard. The springs with which the waterblock is pressed onto the CPU prevent locking of the mounting mechanism and therefore damage to your components, The waterblock is equipped with G1/4" fittings which allows the use of the very most fittings and makes it compatible with virtually any hose size.

The Apogee XT is shipped with a Universal hold-down plate and retention mechanism compatible with all Intel Core desktop processors: sockets LGA775, 1156, and 1366. All Apogee XT waterblocks shipped to retail channels after November 1st 2009 include the motherboard back-plates for sockets LGA1366 (Core i7) and 1156 (Core i5 and i7).

The socket 775 motherboard back-plate is not included with the block, but may be requested from Swiftech who will ship one to you.
